The trip is sponsored by the Chrome Group, a leading multibillion dollar conglomerate based in Abuja, Nigeria which specialises in oil and gas and supporting interest in bio-fuels and petroleum products trading, logistics and dredging business.

....The relationship with Chrome started last year after Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan visited Trinidad in 2012. Pan Trinbago’s president Keith Diaz met with him and told him Pan Trinbago was seeking sponsorship and partnership for the pan movement as he wanted to showcase pan on the African continent.
