...NCC chairman Kenneth De Silva, however, said the North Stand remains the only profit centre in Carnival and so to do away with it completely would not make for good business.
“There are all kind of figures floating around, but I can tell you the construction and break down of the North Stand costs just over TT$2 million. It will (for 2017) gross TT$5 million making it the only profit centre in Carnival,” De Silva said.
De Silva said for Panorama semi-finals alone the stand holds 7,000 patrons at a cost of $400 a ticket. He said further schemes are being constructed to boost attendance at the venue's other events: Dimanche Gras, Kaisorama, King and Queens.
“Do the math, in one event it pays for itself. What we are trying to do is lower the prices for other shows. If we can offer the stand at say $100 a person we can raise attendance for these other shows,” he concluded.

I think $400 a ticket is to costly i believe $200 a ticket will draw much larger crowd and make much more money.that is my opinion.

Lowering the price making it affordable will increase attendance and revenue. Some people get in free no matter what.

This sounds great De Silva, but many still get in free. Actual cost and revenue figures are never known, no one is accountable for anything. It's a joke.
