  • That was a very convincing report on the development of the pan. Although his view on the origins of the pan may be considered sacrilegious by many on this forum. 

    Mr. Haynes felt that both Africans and Indians contributed to the invention of the pan -- based on a relationship stemming from an Indian festival where Blacks and Indians joined together in playing pans.
