Over four hundred thousand dollars spent and the president withdrew the case against NCC.
It is alleged that PT has not been paying its staff because of the ridiculous fees they have been paying Mr Ramesh for representation in their case against the NCC. This was yet another selfish move by the executive, who took legal action without consulting their members. Members who must ultimately fit the bill as all P T moneys belong to the members. Due to this legal action, it is alleged, NCC stopped financially supporting P T and the president, who, without an agreement from the rest of the executive, withdrew the case. Reports are that the decision to withdraw the case has caused a further division between the D Shepherd faction and the president’s faction of the executive. Although withdrawing the case might be the best move to facilitate negotiations for Panorama 2018 between Pan Trinbago and NCC, the downside to that is allegedly over four hundred thousand dollars on lawyer fees are gone with no profit. Now, how much more mismanagement can we afford? Can we afford another year of this? If not, come out in your numbers at the AGM (29th Oct.). Let your voices be heard and take control of your organization. Pan Trinbago is crying. She needs us so let us not disappoint her. Save the movement.

We recently got reports that the President allegedly boasted that if the members of P T tried to remove him from office he would use the organization’s money to fight them in court.
Our organization is in the practice of getting lawyers rich because of the callous way they handle pan people’s business. Within the last seven years the amount of legal issues brought against P T is unprecedented. This recent act of ignorance against the Concerned Individuals for Pan’s (C.I.P) members is another example of why P T allegedly spent over a quarter million dollars of ‘pan man money’ in legal fees and would continue to do so under this executive.
