LAWFORD DUPRES promised to PAY PAN MEN in one week, if elected. In other words PAN MEN were getting paid by tomorrow. And since he was the GOVERNMENT'S CHOICE to win, he would have gotten that money from ROWLEY and DOLLY in days!!!
But PAN is an AFRO-TRINI thing!!! And the society has not yet evolved to the point where they would put some FRENCH CREOLE in office as PRESIDENT OF PAN TRINBAGO. Even though he was best positioned politically and professionally to offer the MOST HELP to PAN MEN. And to move PAN TRINBAGO FORWARD!!!
And it is not as if LAWFORD DUPRES is some FOREIGN WHITE MAN with BLUES EYES and BLONDE HAIR, you know. He looks like so many other TRINIDADIANS -- just not BLACK ENOUGH to be elected PRESIDENT OF PAN TRINBAGO.
Well, I have always had a problem with the "every creed and race find an equal place line" and I don't expect to see that resolved in my lifetime.
But to PUNISH YOURSELF and YOUR ORGANIZATION just because of RACE and then to run around talking about PAN PROGRESS (which you know is NOT IN THE CARDS under BEVERLEY) is BEYOND BAFFLING!!!
