I would like to know anyone's opinion on why a prize is not awarded for the song/s played by the winning panorama bands. Maybe add a panorama "road march". Gone are the days when I went to the savannah and know most or all of the tunes paid by bands. De Fosto informed me at a discussion we had at the Bertie Marshall Pan Institute that Kitch told him that he made those tunes for the love of it..not for money...because there was no money to be had. Maybe if there was a prize(50,000 - 100,000), more young arrangers will get into the business of arranging sufficiently complex material suitable for pan and maybe get played on radio. It is money running this business there days. Furthermore..is there a prize for the wining arranger? What about prizes for Mas bands supported strictly by pan music.
