New York, USA - NYU Steel featuring students in the NYU Steinhardt Percussion Program gave the public a tantalizing glimpse of their steelpan music acumen when they performed in New York’s Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village yesterday afternoon. Not even the slightly grey skies overhead could maintain its dour countenance as NYU Steel from New York University kept up a determined music pulse and rhythm in the rather cool afternoon.
