Pan Men & NCC Meet To Discuss Outstanding Payment

Pan Trinbago met with the National Carnival Commission on Thursday to discuss a way forward for Panorama 2017.

This after an emergency meeting on Wednesday evening where members of Pan Trinbago said they will not play at Panorama 2017 if they do not get their money.

The members claimed that they are still owed money by Pan Trinbago for 2016.

Chairman and Acting CEO of the NCC described the meeting as cordial but noted that it cannot be business as usual.

  • what about the time when we played pan for the LOVE of it , and after carnival we might get $100 and it was paid by the band. Now some panmen are playing in5&6 bands just for the money
    • So are the Arrangers and they get BIG money.
    • Playing for love is one thing.  But if you had been promised payment and then didn't get it is another thing.
