I wonder how many people actually read the entire article?? [THE ARTICLE] Concerning for some people in another thread is the fact that another race (once again) is coming to take over what we as black people started.
A question was asked , what do we as a race really have left, the last thing that we could hold on to as ours (Steelpan) is seemingly being taken over before our eyes! Isn’t this what PT was created for in the first place? Is there still a factory owned and operated by PT? If so? How is it doing financially? Again I will state as a race of people, we really need to examine ourselves! Stop being so quick to cuddle up with other races who don’t even like us, and under normal circumstances wouldn’t even give us the time of day! How is it that we couldn’t come together as a race and capitalize on this thing called PAN , gifted to us and thrust into the universe through the blood sweat and tears of our ancestors! Why do we always have to go begging and partnering up with others for financial resources. It’s the same Syrians who bragged to Anthony Bourdain, that the Syrian/Lebanese Society is a closed community. Why are they so willing now to embrace us! Is it really for the love of Pan or do they have ulterior motives??

Pan Tastic...Where were you when the same Hadad family came to Boggsie's and ultimately Phase II's aid some time ago? So is it that it was ok to save Boogsie's life but it's not to assist the steel band movement?
