PAN TRINBAGO AND THE FORUM....

It's a positive move by Pan Trinbago to have their PR man reach out to the pan public here in the Forum, with todays technology distance don't matter, we all share news as it happens,so by you all addressing the largest site for pan shows a certain amount  of maturity that can only foster a better relationship with pan people throughout the world.

  • The organization is in desperate financial straits. Any port for a storm!!! You switched sides and became a supporter after the last election but most progressive people see them as inept. They lack the administrative skills and the world view to be effective outside of their immediate voting bloc. Sponsors turned their backs and Rowley certainly does not seem to be a DIAZ FAN. So desperate times call for desperate measures.

    • AYE, Aye, AYE!!

  • True.

I must say though ,that this is not the first time that we've heard from the PRO,  Mikey Joseph ( Scobie ) on this forum.

    • Glenroy,  no one said it was the first time, I just find they are trying to do it regularly.

      • Let it be known, it don't matter what is done for the steelband after ash Wednesday nothing gives them more gratification that having their supporters with them on the road.

Let us not try to ignore the fact of where the steelband came from,

  • Cecil, this is all part of their PR campaign to get the Lotto license, Patrick Arnold from the previous administration had no problem coming on this Forum and doing a Q&A. Why not ask Pan Times to poll its members by asking them if they they think getting a Lotto license will solve their (PT) financial problems. Pan men and women still suffering today, its music industry going no where.

I say give us a better Master Plan for Pan. How come the previous administrations were able to achieve more with less. Steelband Music Festival, Pan In The Twenty-first Century, Pan Ramajay, all major Pan events year round.

    • odw, I must say that they are good at using "any means necessary" in this case I have no objection to them getting the Lotto license. My beef is that they are not doing anything to help bands help themselves, they MUST realize that the steelband place is on the road and they should be leading the charge, teaching your people to play pan and not using them in the biggest show in the land is not acceptable.

  • Very true Cecil....now all that's left to be seen is if they will listen to the comments made on the forum and act accordingly.
