Pan Trinbago Apologising For Attack On Attorney

Pan Trinbago is apologising for an attack on Attorney Fareed Scoon as he served High Court documents on Pan Trinbago's President, Keith Diaz, at a meeting held at the Communication Workers Union Hall on Thursday, May 17th.

The meeting was called by Mr. Diaz, inviting the general membership to attend and amend the constitution of that organisation.

Mr Scoon, acting on behalf of the Central Executive of Pan Trinbago, obtained from Madame Justice Joan Charles, an ex-parte Injunction declaring the meeting unconstitutional and in violation of the provisions of the Constitution of Pan Trinbago.

Upon delivery of the notice, an elected official threw alcohol on the lawyer.

The Central Executive of Pan Trinbago says an investigation has been launched into the matter.
