Pan Trinbago president Keith Diaz said he suported all incentives to expand the creative industries but admitted that "it's not so easy" to get funding for programmes from the Government. He said he does not believe the Government should fund arts organizations 100 per cent, but work in partnership with them and corporate sponsors. Diaz said Pan Trinbago presented the ministry with a working budget of $56million for 2013, which would cover Panorama and year-round events. He added that PanTrinbago was working towards becoming self-sufficient and not depending on the Government.

Mr or Miss President of Pan Trinbago, their would be a paradigm shift concernting tax payers dollars from now on for organizations that received tax dollars and have no regards for transparency and accountability
Mr Minister of Arts and Multiculturalism demand transparency and accountability when giving tax payers dollards to all Arts and Cultural bodies.
Total agreement. If Pan Trinbago was a better run organization, I am sure that corporate sponsers would be more that willing to support what is an integral part of our culture. Pan Trinbago should be made to open their books NOW before the goverment or any private entity gives them anything.
I agree Andre, when dey want to "eat ah food" let then spend dey own dollars.
He added that: "PANTRINBAGO was working towards becoming self-sufficient and NOT depending on the Government."
