Pan Trinbago polls await court matter

Trinidad & Tobago Guardian

Trinidad & Tobago - A date cannot be set for Pan Trinbago elections until after its court matter has been concluded, says Pan Trinbago president Keith Diaz.

The organisation is involved in a High Court lawsuit with four steelband representatives over its elections which were supposed to take place last October.

According to reports, the four representatives submitted their nomination papers to Pan Trinbago secretary Richard Forteau but were told they were invalid as they were not named as delegates of any member steelband.

  • Diaz will be embarassed  again after the Judge gives his ruling on the 17th of January because he will loose, just as he lost the first part with Keith simpson who is a manager in Scotia Bank. Diaz knows Simpson will be elected treasurer and he went out of his way to block him from participating in the election. Thank God Simpson went to court and he won.

The election may be held after panorama so dem boys have more time to damage themselves because they are an incompetent bunch.

    Is we to Catch.......

  • Bets are on for the Pantrinbago and THA elections. Contact ur local Off trak Bettin' offices for odds. I personally like the H.I.P party i.e the Honesty and Integrity Party.

  • I am hopeful that as soon as this carnival season is over all energies will be directed to the election.
