  • Was PANTRINBAGO (Mr. Diaz) involved with Birdsong while they going through the court process? Was Mr. Diaz helping Birdsong to look for alternate acccommodations? Does PANTRINBAGO have documentation/histories on all steelbands and their properties and have an ongoing discussion/advise/legal help to these folks, especially those without title/long term leases to their yards, to avoid this Birdsong type mess from happening? Diaz jumping up and screaming about the government on the day that the property is being torn down does not make a lick of sense. Diaz yuh a day late and a dollar short - sorry, sorry several million dollars short ( the pan HQ eyesore in the east)

    • Mr. Cumberbatch: And that is the "LEADER" of the WORLD GOVERNING BODY OF PAN elected by the majority of Steelbands in Trinidad and Tobago and then they want to cry long crocodile tears when he fails so miserably!!!

Our only hope is for Rowley to cut the 2017 budget by $5 million dollars and expose the corruption going on in PAN TRINBAGO.

      • Why do the Steelbands keep electing Diaz when it is so obvious that he has done nothing to advance the state of pan? Steelbands need to stop crying and fix their own house(PANTRINBAGO) instead of blaming the government for everything. You cah blame the government when PANTRINBAGO cannot show where/how funds from government are spent. How about a court ordered audit of the last 15 years and the complete results released to the public.  Ah hear he in NY for Labour Day but some panmen still waiting for pay from Panaroma 2016.

        • You can't do audit for the last 15yrs. I heard all the papers bun down.
      • Leave de man leh he play ah mas nah Claude….ah hear he and Foto in NY for Labour Day…if yuh feel is crocofdle tears in 'Puna…then is "Mas in Madison Square Garden"….

        • The amount ah dem I see in New York, I thought PanTrinbago's headquarters move to Brooklyn. I guess they are entitled to travel like anybody else though.
BTW ah hear no Panorama, if Panman doh get dey money by end of Sept. Doh arsk me nutten, dais wat ah hear.
  • This is about the third time I see Diaz try to get the attention of Government/Rowley/Gadsby-Dolly with zero reaction from them -- dat little screaming temper tantrum did not help his cause any. It's going to be a long next four years for PAN TRINBAGO. Ah cyar wait to see Rowley cut another $5 MILLION from the PANORAMA BUDGET 2017.

  • When the land owner tried to evict Invaders people got involved and prevented it. When people went after Phase ll yard they lost the battle, both Invaders and Phase ll were able to remain in their communities which is of utmost importance.

The birdsong situation might be different but it should not have ended this way, someone said we can't blame the government, hell yes, they are the only ones that can fix such a problem, when they have an interest in something they have there ways of getting around what's in the way, that's BIG BROTHER.

This is a sad moment in our history, we fail to support an organization that's doing excellent work in their community, this is what you need to combat the violence in the country, you played into the hands of one of the major causes of the crime you face, financial greed.

    • I wonder if the land (s) belonged to the protesters incl. Keith and they wanted to do some project, would they have allowed Birdsong to stay on their property.
I understand that the band had been there for close to 30yrs. No one thought for one(1) day of approx. 11,000 days that we should be looking for "we own place". I don't really have any facts(inside info) , so maybe someone could enlighten me on this impt issue.
      • Blame is easy patrick…yuh eh know dat yet man?...
