Mr. Gregory Lindsay
Manager/Delegate
Power Stars Steel Orchestra
Western Main Road
St. James
Trinidad.
Dear Mr. Lindsay,
Pan Trinbago takes umbrage to the letter posted on “When Steel Talks” website.
The Organization is guided by a Constitution and one expects that any letter of complaint be directed properly to the Secretary of the Association and this in respect of the instant matter.
By posting the particular letter on a public website which has international reach and stating the name of a sitting adjudicator in a current competition calls into question the integrity and competence of the person in question, thereby causing much embarrassment and hurt to someone who was selected by member steelbands and who agreed to serve.
The Panorama Management Committee feels compromised by your letter and has properly referred the matter to the Central Executive.
Pan Trinbago in the circumstances offers a profound apology to the particular judge/adjudicator and we sincerely hope that this matter in no way affects adversely the relationship that exists between the judges who give of their time and the Steelband Association.
We sincerely apologize to Ms. Ragbir and hope for a continued good relationship.
Yours truly
Richard Forteau
Secretary

WST, kindly publish the Rules & Regulations of the 2011 Pan Trinbago Panorama competition on line?
It would help people to understand the context of arguments and positions being taken on some issues.
