I knew Kenneth well I should say Kenneth knew me from diapers.....played alongside him in Moods Pan Groove.... he was just an outstanding no nonsense fellow with that extremely high gloss chrome well kept second pan from Pan Am... I will miss him dearly.... My condolences to the family....Rest in peace my brethren....
My condolences to the family of the late Kenneth Moore. I met Kenneth in the the early 1970's. He was a member of the Brooklynaires Steel Orchestra, and later played with a number of other Brooklyn bands, as well as the Miami Pan Symphony at Panorama in Florida. He had his personal Double Second with which he carried with him. On behalf of Despers USA and the pan fraternity, our symphaties are with Kenneth Moore's family.
Sincerely,
Ian Franklin
Rest In peace Kenneth Moore, and many blessings to your family. My dad (Robert Thwaites) shared the stage with Kenneth on many occassions with Pan Am, and I had the chance to do the same with Moods Pan Groove. There is only a hand full of panist who can play the spider web double second created by Tony Williams. Kenneth master this instrument, and I remember him telling me it is much easier to play. Rest In Peace Kenneth!
