"Urban Drums" is recognized internationally for original and charming music, and in its universe live the African-American rhythms, the jazz-Percussive Setting, the poetic richness of Brazilian popular culture and the variety of instrumental combinations. The repertoire features instrumental and vocals from the members of the group, a musical family: Benjo Benitez, Pedro Tupa, Pilar Benitez and Sergio Boré. In 2020 Sergio Boré presents the new urban drum album, dedicated to friendship and inspired by the hugs that warm and remain in the soul of us. There are 7 unreleased songs from the members of the group, where African-American rhythms and the variety of instrumental combinations, live with the riches of Brazilian popular culture in a production of sultana records and casa de tupan, was recorded in 2019 Between Brasilia, Montevideo, Paris and Santiago de Chile. Then mixed and mastered by Lucas Trigueiro in brasilia Benjo Benitez, Pedro Tupa, Sergio and Pilar Benitez Mix the sound of their percussion, drums and steel pans to kora and guitars by Lucas Trigueiro and the bass by Paula Zimbres.
