It was a GREAT IDEA to stage a show like this in this DRY PAN SEASON. So I am as excited as any PAN LOVER in THE WORLD to enjoy this show TOMORROW.
Now, I don't expect more than TWO OF THE CONTESTANTS to take me to HEAVEN with their PERFORMANCES. And even so, the PERFORMANCES will not reach MY EXPECTATIONS of GLOBAL PAN MUSIC. But MY HOPE for PAN PROGRESS will never die because I have personally invested too much of my TIME and MONEY to give up HOPE.
THE FRENCH FELLAH (even though I DO NOT LIKE his STYLE OF PLAY) is MILES BETTER than ALL THE OTHER PLAYERS and HE SHOULD WIN.
PAN TRINBAGO is TOO BIG AN ORGANIZATION and GET TOO MUCH FREE MONEY from the GOVERNMENT to be PIMPING off a show like this. PAN TRINBAGO should be able to hold its OWN INTERNATIONAL PAN SHOW given the GLOBAL PLATFORM that they CONTROL.
BUT INCOMPETENCE IN ADMINISTRATION is THE NORM IN TRINIDAD -- DON'T TALK about CORRUPTION in EVERYTHING!!!
PERSONALLY, I don't think that ANY of the 10 FINALISTS could PLAY A CALYPSO RIGHT on THE PAN -- but that is ANOTHER DISCUSSION!!!
