People on this forum talk all the BIG TALK all year long but as soon as PANORAMA starts approaching and the possibility of a BOYCOTT against PAN TRINBAGO corruption breathes any life -- everybody start BACKING BACKING and FREAKING OUT as if PANORAMA is the PRIMARY EVENT on their ANNUAL CALENDAR.

Gregory, you live in a society where from a young age you teach kids to play pan, when they grow and become crack shots you want to limit them to one band. I'm afraid you'll have to learn to live with this because it is the reality of the time we are living in. Panorama is the only time they use their skill and make some extra dollars

They MUST have PANORAMA because as Kim Johnson explained:
“Panorama was the PNM government of the 1960s taking control of the steelband movement ... the strategy included making it more lucrative to play in Panorama because of prize money and appearance fees ...PNM had no organised masses like a union, so panmen represented a structured link to the voting masses."

Although Dr. Kim Johnson's argument has become dated because these days you have the PRESIDENT OF PANORAMA teefing all the appearance fees and the voting masses still waiting for dey $1000.
