According to one of my sources at the NCC, PAN TRINBAGO is about to receive almost SIX MILLION DOLLARS from the GOVERNING BODY OF STEELBAND. (Well since THE NCC is the one who handled all the PANORAMA MONEY -- ah have to call them the REAL GOVERNING BODY.)
And soon after BEVERLEY RAMSEY-MOORE gets that FAT CHEQUE -- she will be announcing the appointment of a PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER.
BEVERLEY is running such a TIGHT-LIPPED SHIP -- I had to make 20 calls to TRINIDAD just go get this LITTLE BIT of information. Hopefully the NEW PRO will be a GOOD FRIEND OF MINE and I hope that he will keep me PERSONALLY INFORMED on all the GRAND PLANS that are brewing in the 100 committees set up by this NEW EXECUTIVE.
But I find that TOO MUCH of the PAN TRINBAGO EMPHASIS is on PANORAMA. They need to reach out to some EXPATS and get some projects working on THE OUTSIDE. A lot of IMMIGRANTS want to see BEVERLEY succeed in making PAN TRINBAGO the WORLD GOVERNING BODY OF STEELBAND -- IN ACTUALITY. And they are willing to LEND A HELPING HAND.
However, THE EXECUTIVE needs a more WORLDLY ERO than DANE GULSTON. So when BEVERLEY appoints THE NEW PRO she should do a little CABINET SHUFFLE.
