In a previous thread Claude provided public evidence that Pan Trinbago was not only dishonest but trying to use some funny math on the players.

  1. The Trinidad and Tobago Newsday reported that Panorama 2016 pulls in just over 10,000 players in their article "Panorama pulls in 10,000 players" on January 6, 2016 - http://www.newsday.co.tt/features/0,222194.html
  2. On July 2, 2016 - The Trinidad and Tobago Newsday reports in an article 'Pan Trinbago wants balance of Govt allocation" that the Trinidad and Tobago government has only paid them 25 million of the 30 million they were allocated and this difference of 5 million and this has prevented them from paying the players their $1000 performance fee.  http://www.newsday.co.tt/news/0,230000.html

But Claude showed us that 10,000 times $1000 comes to a total of $10,000,000 needed to cover the players 2016 performance fees.

Does Pan Trinbago have the other 5 million in a safe place?

Why wasn't the players paid first?

Why not give the players half their money now, since you have it now?

Why not treat the players as real performing artist? Pay them half their fee in advance and the other half as they walk off the stage.

  • I am surprised that no one is querying the "10,000 player" figure, given that every 1000 players is approx. 1 million. PT is not giving a projection date, so its quite possible that pymts could be made for Christmas. That results in a psychological payment pack for panorama players and everybody's happy, it's Christmas time. Bottle and spoon, eh?? Like Donald Trump say "NICE".

    • Everybody is happy as it is, Patrick. But you are right -- it will make them  REAL HAPPY for Christmas. Exploitation of labor and they don't even know it!

      • That is the story of the pan man. The New Visionaries represent their players, but we are not hearing from them. Four nonplaying expats are fighting while 8000 say nutten. Pan man happy, that is the story of the pan man.
  • Pan trinbago is full of it I would like to know how much money did Pan Trinbago made during the international panorama and Local panorama they do not disclose those money but only depend on government money taxpayers money.
  • Bugs: I think that you should give Mr. Trevor Emanuel Cooper the title of  "NUMBER ONE SLEUTH" on this forum. He solved the case of the "MISSING FIVE MILLION DOLLARS." It is interesting to note that he informed us that DISTINGUISHED AND HIGHLY EDUCATED AUDITORS from the Government of T&T did come to the conclusion that DE FIVE MILLION DOLLARS GONE.

However, I do not share Mr. Cooper's belief "in one day for police and one day for teef" when it comes to CRIME AND PUNISHMENT in SWEET SWEET T&T -- oh how ah love up meh country!!!

  • Like allyuh want DIAZ to send a HITMAN to kill me. Cecil Hinkson love the pan more than me so let him die for the cause. However, here is the hidden link in the "CASE OF THE MISSING FIVE MILLION." You see that FIVE MILLION has been missing for years now (as I have mentioned in some of my previous posts). Let us say that the schoolgirl MINISTRESS OF CULTURE does come up with the  FIVE MILLION DOLLARS and hands it over to President Diaz to pay the PAN MEN. What Diaz does next is go to the bank and borrow FIVE MILLION DOLLARS. So now he has $10,000,000 and he could afford to pay the PAN MEN. Everybody happy! Everything nice! Everybody get pay! The bankers happy too because they are attaching interest and loan fees to the debt which is backed by the good faith of the government of T&T.

Comes 2017 PANORAMA and as soon as Rowley hand Diaz the new $25,000,000 -- about $5,500,000 gone to pay off the loan from 2016. So financially, Diaz is leading from behind. Will he ever catch up? (Place your bets ladies and gentlemen.)

    I don't think so!!!

    • These are some of the burning issues, the New Vissionaries were concerned about. If you look at the accounts of the 2015 AGM, you would see that the Auditors had indicated that PAN TRINBAGO was in the RED by $5,000,000.00, (Five Million dollars) and  as a result was considered to be BANKRUPT or in lLIQUIDATION. Of course an excuse was given for this, and the band;s representatives who are not familiar with reading and interpreting financial reports, thought that the NV were the Bad Guys.

If one looks back at the Financial Statements of the last five years, the number of players who were paid $1,000.00  varied between  7000  to around 7,800. This number includes players performing for more than one band. Diaz and his cohorts suddenly believe that they are smarter than the government officials who are highly educated in their field. SO "Drag yuh bow Mister Fiddler" One day for Police One day for Thief...

  • Pay de bandsman dem money!

Dem seh dem want dem money and from dem play dem haffi get pay!
    • Bandsmen eh complaining, tings nice. Leh dem wait 'til Christmas, dey go tink is a gif from Pantrinbago..
