YESTERDAY Tuesday 24th January 2012 Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar addressing a key distribution ceremony to 500 persons reiterated her vision for the pan theaters - saying Government's wish was "to upgrade our panyards to pan theaters with built-in state-of-the-art infrastructure for example: seating for visitors, museums detailing past accomplishments in Carnival,music, awards, scheduled performances available all year round; and even kitchens where visitors can sample the delights and local cuisine."
In this way, steelbands and their administration will be consistently engaged throughout the year. We expect this approach to not only attract but sustain thousands of tourists, she added.

Terry, I take that as a HUGE compliment. I NEVER heard the phrase: "Is we time now", until East Indian leadership. What is more "TRIBAL" than that? Last year was the UN's "International Year for People of African Descent". What did PM Kamla Bissesar do in honor of her African constituents? FYI - East Indians in Trinidad & Tobago ( and Guyana) are the most "TRIBAL" clannish in the entire Caribbean. When Black Stalin sang Caribbean Man, many of them got their dhotis all tied up in knots. (Excuse my humor, or lack thereof.) I know that you all would like the Black man to believe that, but the actions of your leadership show nothing less than nepotism. As for "name-calling", please highlight where I used ANY racial epitaphs. FYI - I hear the term "coolie" more from East Indians than any group. (And, now "nigger" seems to be Black's term of endearment.) You obviously don't know me, and your attempt to make me racist for speaking the truth will not hold up. The EVIDENCE is there, and historically, East Indians NEVER wanted to mix with the lowest of the low in their caste system. Why do you all go to Canada and marry only Whites, then?
