"Is Pan Trinbago’s Charity for show?
One would try not to give attention to the low-level politics by our sitting president, however she and her team are currently making it extremely hard not to do so.
They are scraping the barrel by celebrating the one-year anniversary of a social programme. Pan Trinbago, are we to celebrate that? Really? ,unbelievable.
We know that Beverly and her executive are politically desperate, this evidenced by their recent attempt to garner political points vis a vis the pan factory.
But they have however reached a new low by contacting families , who got food hampers last year and instructing them to make promotional videos praising Pan Trinbago.
We have reached the political gutter with this president. You like to give the impression that you are a God-fearing person. What about when the bible said that your left hand should not know when you right hand is giving charity? We all know it is wrong to give charity for show.
Madam president, your members, which are the bands, want help now. Lights are going out in pan yards all over the country. We did not benefit from the Covid Relief program for Entertainers the first and second time around.
Why are you not representing us? You claim to have the Prime Minister’s number on speed dial to who’s to benefit ? Surely not your members? Because we need help. Stop the politics and do what we put you in office to do, which is represent the bands and seek after their interests"
