Patricia Alison “Pat” Bishop TC (7 May 1940 – 20 August 2011) was an exceptional Trinidadian educator, music director, artist and cultural icon.

She is a titan among giants in the history of pan.  Staying in her lane was not part of her MO.   The late Pat Bishop was one of the most respected, influential and celebrated women in the steelpan movement. Holder of Trinidad & Tobago's highest award -The Trinity Cross - her accomplishments are second to none.
