Just wanted to send out a reminder about the Northern Illinois University World Steelband concert this Sunday, April 25th at 3:00 pm cst in DeKalb, IL. This concert will have a live webcast, so you can still watch and enjoy even if you can't make it out to DeKalb. So you have three options for your remote viewing pleasure! This semester is a special semester as they will be honoring one of the men responsible for the NIU Steelband being in existence, Mr. Lester Trilla. The steelband will be performing pieces by Tchaikovsky, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and many more. There will also be arrangements by their own Cliff Alexis, Liam Teauge, and NIU alum Seion Gomez. You definitely don't want to miss this!
