knolly, old people used to say "where there's ah WILL there's ah WAY.
With all the talk of panorama and making money ( important issues) many of us seem to have forgotten the actual joy of playing pans on the move , on the road. Some of my sweetest memories in life are of being behind my rack of pans as the sun rose on a J'ourvert morning.many years ago. Reading posts on this forum , sometimes I wonder how many of us remember , or can relate to these experiences ?

I try to relive those memories every year at the Brooklyn Labor Day J'Ouvert which to me is the next best thing to J’Ouvert in TT in the 1960s and 70s.
Thanks to WST (and Glenroy) I can reminisce about J’Ouvert with Solo Harmonites the years the band won Panorama. Here are two good examples of our tunes for the Bomb Competition, enjoy:
