Cecil: When PAN TRINBAGO started to load the SINGLE PAN PRELIMS for you over a week ago, I pointed you to the website. And yesterday I put up the link for you and you still complaining about not being able to see the SINGLE PAN FINALS.
Furthermore, if PAN TRINBAGO follows your lead and spends the money to stream those shows and charge $20 and $30 they will LOSE MONEY as they have done so many times before. The PANORAMA audience is a very SMALL audience and the music does not have much global appeal.
Claude clearly the Single Pan competition is not taken seriously by Pan Trinbago although they may say otherwise...They let that category get so out of hand that it is now unmanageable...hence the decision to omit a Semi Final round. How 52 bands (initially advertised as 67) face the judges and just pick the top 20 for a final is beyond me. Further, at the 11th hour they announce that bands can perform with only 30 players max....down from 45. We (Icewater Pan Ensemble) found that out the day before we competed. All conventional bands will be allowed to compete with the maximum of 100, 90 and 50 as per usual for the prelims. If they really want to save money why not cut all bands across the board? The usual operation by "vaps" story again...no wonder PT continue to be in serious trouble...
