If Panorama 2017 comes off, patrons to the Greens can expect a smaller venue.
Richard Forteau, Secretary of Pan Trinbago, told Loop the Greens will return but it will be back to its original size.
Last year, the Greens was expanded but suffered a loss of many party groups who opted out of the Panorama experience citing security and other concerns.
Some groups teamed up with Caesar's Army which staged its own rival event, Bacchanal Road, at the Hasely Crawford Stadium....

"Curiouser and curiouser"...
Forteau says: “Pan Trinbago is not sitting here waiting, we have put forward a number of plans, we sought an independent partner and we registered a heritage lottery company to do a lottery that would be an international lottery that you could play on your phone from anywhere in the world. We have a pan factory manufacturing drums; we have a contract with ministry of education to maintain all the pans that are being used. We have been asking the state to help us to be self-sufficient."
(Imagine Diaz and Forteau running an INTERNATIONAL LOTTERY -- BILLIONS, MAN. BILLIONS!!!)
He went on to explain that people who are accusing PAN TRINBAGO of corruption "as just being after power". And if the PAN MEN willing to accept $640 instead of $1000 -- then we have a deal.
Now I agree with his ("power hungry") comment here because everybody thinks that they could inherit that SWEET BREAD JOB if they could get KEITH DIAZ to step down -- but that eh never going to happen. Allyuh could march from town to Toco and even consider making it to Tobago -- Keith Diaz will still be president when the march is done.
But be happy!!! The PANORAMA will be staged AS USUAL but I may have some bad news for the SMALL BANDS -- wait til NEXT YEAR. Look on the bright side: Small Bands have a WHOLE YEAR to practice their SONG for 2018.
