Dear President Diaz, Sir: As you know, there are 20,000 members on this WST FORUM and most of them HATE YOU. But throughout the years I have been your NUMBER ONE SUPPORTER -- even though I have to admit that I have been VERY CRITICAL of you (at times) over the years because I REALLY CARE ABOUT THE PROGRESS OF PAN. However, you can just blame the NEW VISIONARIES for agitating my opposition to your YOUR ROYAL HIGHNESS (I once was lost but now I am found) for that.
So let us get down to the SUBJECT OF THE MORNING. And since I am celebrating the New Years my cerebral integrity could be challenged. But I will continue with my proposal.
You owe 10,000 PAN MEN -- TEN MILLION DOLLARS. According to you, $2.7 million of that was spent on TOBAGO PAN MEN. Simple arithmetic, you still have $7.3 million in the bank waiting to pay the 10,000 PAN MEN. And rumor has it that you cannot borrow any more money, but I do not want to get into the CORRUPTION BACCHANAL. So let us just stick with the facts. You owe 10 million dollars and you have $7.3 million in your hand.
My proposal is that you call all the PAN MEN together and tell them that dem TOBAGO PANMEN dig TOO DEEP into your pocket and all you have left is $7,300,000 to pay to the players which you are willing to hand over RIGHT NOW (Like Obama did with the IRANIANS -- HARD CASH) to them. Added to that, you swear on a bible that a full payment of $1,270 will be paid to each of the 10,000 players before the Ides of March, 2017.
Now, at this point, I have to reference DON KING (I love to read biographies) and what his approach to this crisis might be.
Don King said that if you owe a NI...R one million dollars, just show up with a suitcase full of $60,000 in cash (I read the book long ago so I don't quite remember the exact fraction) and a release of liability contract and a pen. Don King says that the NI...R will grab that cash and sign that contract faster than JACKIE ROBINSON can make a steal from FIRST to SECOND.
So, President Diaz, you could not ask for better counsel than I have just given you -- THE DON KING MODEL!!!
In conclusion, all I can say that if the PAN MEN are SO STUPID to fall for this trick -- they deserve every OPPRESSION that comes their way!!!

Right is right and wrong is wrong. Its is that simple. The pan players are not begging for money. They work hard for it and deserve to be pay their money. In fact, they should be pay way more than 1000. Because by the time you travel to the pan yard get something to eat anđ drink and then travel back home; and this is done for the entire panorama season, that would mean that the 1000 would have been spent long time. Thus the pan players have more love for the artform that any so calĺ executive.
I would not go so far as to say the majority of members HATE anybody.
We do not like what's happening at Pan Trinbago and the treatment of the players is extremely shabby to say the least.
We blame the administration of PT for the debacle and the state of the institution and politely ask that they demit office and allow more competent persons to take over the reins.
We also ask that a full accounting for the financial situation of the organization over the past five years or more.
If criminal actions are discovered we urge the authorities to do their job and take action to rectify the situation, including recovering any misplaced funds.
If no criminality is evident then all we ask is that the administration hit the road and don't look back.
