San Fernando, Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - The event that showcases steelband in the southland aka ‘South/Central Pan Champs’ is back after a 19-year-hiatus. Re-introduced by the current administration of Pan Trinbago, it has been renamed in the honor of late national steelpan icon, the beloved Ken “Professor” Philmore.
....Thirteen conventional steel orchestras and three single pan bands are in the contest to triumph in their respective grouping.
