Vern Henry, captain of Panorama champions Lime Hell’s Gate Steel Orchestra, says the fact that one point separated the top three finishers shows that the standard of pan is getting very high in Antigua.

Lime Hell’s Gate scored 266 points, Digital Halcyon’s Steel Orchestra was second with 265 while Gemonites rounded out the winners circle with 264.

“I guess the hard work showed that the execution was the difference between us and the second band. I think the standard is getting real high and and I think that not only the performances of the band but also the audience. There was a lot of people there and it shows that it’s growing.” says the captain of Lime Hell’s Gate Steel Orchestra.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne was among the hundreds attending Panorama.
