  • FOR IMMEDIATE PUBLIC TRANSMISSION: PRESS RELEASE

    28.10.2017

    Attention - Michael Joseph
    Public Relations Officer
    Pan Trinbago.

Re : RESPONSE TO STATEMENT BY MICHAEL JOSEPH, PRO Pan Trinbago

    Michael Joseph...aka Brother Scobie ..Greetings!!

In the words a real Orisha High Priest...Baba Erin Folami opined:

"In this Country it is so easy to openly accuse Afrikan People most times even without evidence because other people have been successful in denigrating their brothers and sisters for less or just for Control over the Afrikan assets or business,Be Careful,You May Reap What You Sow."

I am sure he was speaking to you, Brother Scobie!
I don't know exactly when switched from helping others as a regional leader, to helping TEAM M&M eat ah food at the national level.... But I guess for you is ah case of.."De horse cyah starve while de grass growing......wherever you tie your horse,..it must graze FIRST AND FOREMOST"...The only disservice that overshadows your own damning indictment going from hero to zero....is the degree and depth of insolvency that this particular executive led by this blind Captain has pointed organization of which, we, the stakeholders are literally awashed with financial embarrassment

FOR OUR DEAR MEMBERS AND DELEGATES at the AGM on this coming Sunday, there are many serious questions to be I asked.......I forwarded them to this goodly gentleman...Radio Silence! DE NADA.,..

Leadership, strategy and authority are the immediate requirements in order to do what is necessary with regard to Pan Trinbago....Democracy could and will be challenged by the prevalence of fear, greed/self interest, corruption and inertia (resistance to change) which exists among many who currently make up its membership. Proverbially, the DOG will wag its TAIL on Sunday AGM......or lest I dare say time will tell.

PanTrinbago never responded on the allegations of illegally importing two vehicles.

How did the 2016 show a loss of $1,666,000.00 after showing a profit of 8,500,000.00 the previous year,

Why did security expenses increase from $1,107,000 to $2,441,000, rentals increased from $871, 000 to $4,052,462 etc.

It is alleged that the expenses for the Greens in 2016 were $6,872,000.00 resulting in a loss of over $4,800, 000.

Michael Joseph....these are some of the questions to be asked. It appears that there is no plan of action in addressing serious issues with Pan Trinbago.

Let us not waste our time and other panmen and women's time on Sunday.

Confrontational approaches don't necessarily solve problems.

There is a lot more which will be divulged such after the Pan Trinbago AGM and the accounts are before us and gone through by professionals and "informed" persons in our Group. We both know that Accounts never tell the whole story and these Accounts will be prepared to ensure they don't....and will be informed by a scorched earth strategy in the event things don't work out for the current leadership.

Please consider yourself as being advised of the abovementioned and be guided accordingly..

    Regards

    Gregory M. Lindsay

If any person trying to convince you that you should support the president and the executive, Sunday 29th on oct, tell them to answer these questions first: -

    1. How much money was paid to retain Mr. Ramesh for the case against N.C.C.?

    2. Is it a fact that the money PT sued N.C.C. for was money which was already used up by N.C.C to pay Pan Trinbago’s staff?

    3. If so, what would the organization have gained by pursuing this case?

    4. Where are the cars Mr. Diaz bought with Pan Trinbago’s money?

    5. Why are they not being driven?

    6. How much money is being spent to keep them in storage (hiding)?

    7. If Mr. Diaz cannot answer questions concerning the cars because he is ‘exploring his legal options’ (almost a year now), is he just using that as an excuse to not answer questions?

    8. If not, has anyone been served notice or any kind of letter to appear in court for Mr. Diaz concerning the matter of the cars?

    9. If no, how long should the membership have to wait for answers about these cars?

    10.What was Mr. Lambert’s gross payment for the years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017?

11.What is he contracted to accomplish?

    12. Is he being paid as a financial advisor?

    13. If so, why then are we in thirty million dollars’ worth of debt since 2016.

    14. Is he still collecting money from our organization?

15.Why are all Pan Trinbago events poorly attended while other organizations hold pan shows that are properly attended?

    16. What was the value of Mr Diaz honorarium in 2014, 2015 and 2016?

    17. What was the break down on all the executive members’ honorariums in 2016?

    18. What is Mr. Diaz pay per month?

    19. Who benefitted from the 3 million dollar CNMG contract, other than executive members through honorariums?

20.Which band benefitted from the Jet Blue contract, other than executive members who vacation to New York during that panorama season?

    21. Who benefitted from the Penta contract?

    22. Who benefitted from the the Angostura contract?

    23. Did Mr. Diaz allow D Shephers and Scobby to rent cars whilst they collected money for travelling?

    24. Why has Mr. Diaz accused Mr. Bryan Serrette of being incompetent for 7 years and did not fire him as Events Manager?

    23. Is it true, after spending over 25 million to set up the International Steelband Association, the members of Canada, United States and England all pulled out because of a lack of confidence in Mr Diaz and Mr Forteau?

    24. If this information is false, can documented proof be provided showing that the organization was formed and is functioning?

    25. Is it true that after the formation of the International Steelband Association, the financial advisor of Pan Trinbago was to be paid 250, 000.00 dollars US ($1,750,000.00 TT)?

    26. Is it true that there is division in the executive, and that the majority believes that Mr Diaz is unfit to be president?

    27. When would bands get Panorama 2016 appearance fees?

    28. When would bands get Junior Panorama 2016 prize money?

    29.  When would bands get International Panorama 2016 prize money?

    30. When would players get 2016 semi-finals Panorama remittance?

    31. When would players get the rest of 2016 Panorama remittance?

    32. Where are the profits from the pan factory going?

    33. Why are we not benefitting from the pan factory?

We are not saying any is true. We just want truthful answers. And apparentlytelling the truth  is beyond this executive.

I remember clearly, one saying"the tail don't wage the dog"  still fresh in my mind Comrades, like it was yesterday.

    • Question 34 for Mr Joseph, Who did he hire to pen that drivel.

      • I too am thoroughly flabbergasted with the drivel.  Buh hear, nah.

In his heartfelt statement, the PRO expatiates at length (and great depth) about what should or should not be done if the dishonest Tom and/or the dishonest Harry is voted-in to office.
But he failed to mention anything regarding the proverbial dishonest Dick.
Are we to infer that the dishonest Dick has already been comfortably and acceptably voted-in?
His lack of clarity, or, perhaps his temporary memory lapse has left me in a quandary.

        So is now ah 'destrort'.
