I have long wanted to have a steelband comprised of autistic youth, because I believe in the instrument's ability to help said youth. My autistic cousin always has a unique abiity to immediately jump on to ANY instrument (keyboad and drums specifically) and master the instrument in hours, and I suspect he might not be unique in this regard. Anyway. I'm still looking.

Peter, it certainly looks like autistic youth adapt well to the pan, Salah has one that plays with him every summer.
