Five steel musicians from Littlehampton are preparing for the performance of a lifetime.
Young players Marlowe McCaffrey, Pablo Barrios, Sam Chandler and Mica Allen are looking forward to the Panorama World Steelband Championships in February. They will be going to Trinidad and Tobago to perform with the best steelbands and steelpan musicians in the world.
Joining them on the trip will be Lee Nelson, creative director at Sussex Steel and their steelpan tutor. Fundraising is well underway and to boost the total, the group is planning a fundraising concert in Littlehampton on Friday.
