The sun is shining. There is music in the streets. Sounds like the start of a great summer day to me.
Downtown Brooklyn is providing free entertainment every first and last Thursday of the month for any passerby, group, tourist or music junkie.
Kicking off the July series, the sweet sounds of the steel pan accompanied by keyboard and bass flooded Albee Square to start everyone’s early morning. Daniel Pardis brought his two-year-old daughter out to dance to the steel drums. “I wanted my daughter to see the steel drums and dances,” Pardis said.
