  • Hi Martin,

Congrats! It is always heartening to hear of someone you know making it,especially in a field, that you know, receiving such accolades.I knew since you were a very talented young person, growing in a musical family, and excelling in different aspects of music.Keep it going.

  • Congratulations, indeed! I'm always impressed and inspired by people who serve selflessly, who hold fast to the true values of fellowship, in a world ever more distorted by the love of money over all. And I can't imagine a better vehicle for living the ideals of fellowship, than pan. Why that is, I have an idea, but I will leave it to the sociologists to figure out. And to think, Blakie was singing, and laughing, not that long ago to people of my generation, about "when de steelband clash, if yuh see cutlash, never me again, to jump up in a steelband in Port of Spain..." Pan has come a long, long way.
