Also, a note to Verizon folks; I will need your phone number because you will have to receive the ringtone via text message

As long as your phone can connect to a PC then you can have any Steelband ring tone you want.
I currently have Despers "The Entertainer" for incoming calls on my Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and Starlift "Tenor Bass" on my Samsung SGH - D500 it was Scrunter's "Trombone" at one time. Downloading specific ringtones is a waste of money.
For the most part, you're right. Most new phones are capable of using MP3s for ringtones, and simply connecting to a computer allows you to transfer it. The MP3 does need to be edited though in order to be a reasonable size for the ringtone.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Verizon phones need the ringtone sent over via text message. Otherwise the phone won't recognize the file. I don't have a Verizon phone, so that is based on what I have read online.
Because this is a relatively simple process, that is why I am willing to provide this service in exchange for me people simply registering at steelpanstore.com.
Do you know the model? Or if you know what the file type is, that would help even more. Do you know if you can set mp3's as ringtones? I had a Motorola L2 (slvr) that I was able to set mp3's as ringtones. If that is a possibility, I could definitely make you a ringtone. Otherwise, it will just take me a little research and I'll see what I have to do to make a ringtone.
Do you have anything in mind for the ringtone? I currently have Poet and Peasant by Trinidad Tripoli as one of mine. Just let me know and I'll do what I can.

Thank you so much for responding. I have a samsung but I am going to upgrade it today. Can I get back to you this evening? What will be the cost. I will be happy with your choice of rigntone just as long as it is pan.
Sure, get back to me when you get your new phone. I'll get back to you on the price thing. Unless this takes significantly more effort than I expect, I will make this for you in exchange for you registering at steelpanstore.com.

Hi there, well it took a little longer to get back to you than I thought. I did not get an upgrade as I wanted to so I still have a Samsung, is this enough information?
Just a couple more questions. Are you on Verizon? Do you know how to add mp3's from your computer onto your phone? If you said yes to the first question or no to the second question, I have to send you a text message with the file attached.
