Now in its 34th year, the Divali Nagar has grown into the largest celebration of its kind in the western hemisphere. Now the producers expect that this virtual run because of Covid-19 will attract as large a number of people viewing from a distance.
“The physical event has attracted crowds of over 150K over the nine nights. We expect that not only the Hindu population, but all of Trinidad and Tobago will be tuned in on the nine nights as the NCIC presents this 2020 edition, themed ‘Yaadein—Memories of a Lifetime’.
“The event is also being streamed via all social media networks, and it is expected that hundreds of thousands, if not millions, will view the event from many countries all over the world. This is a great opportunity this year to reach audiences that were not previously anticipated. This can be a launching pad for showcasing our local Indo-culture to the world,” Singh stated.
I hope that they release THE VIEWERSHIP after the event -- I am really curious to see how this VIRTUAL PRESENTATION works out ... even though THE CONTENT is a bit outside of my ENTERTAINMENT SPHERE
