Cabinet has approved $15 million for 2022’s Taste of Carnival and has set aside a further $5 million to be used as sponsorship support for other safe zone events.

  • Just wondering about the so-called "pods".

What is the name of the person/company providing the said pods? How much does ONE pod cost the organizers?

How much does each of the participating artistes (e.g. pan players, calypsonians, stickfighters etc.) get?

How much do the transport contractors and security contractors get?

If there is any kind of prize money, how much do the winners get?
