I would like to Big-Up RAY HOLMAN for being the only arranger who was there 50 years ago as an arranger and then is here 50 years later as an arranger. This is a big milestone that should be recognized, acknowledged and appreciated. I would hope that the authorities are taking note of that achievement. I was fortunate to play just once with Ray in Pandemonium around 1975 'Tempo"
I personally just want to say THANK YOU RAY for all the wonderful music...keep going and all the very best.

I have searched all over the internet for years looking for Ray Holman's arrangements with Huggins Pandemonium ... no luck ... songs like Panyard Vibrations, Panyard ecstasy from that era ...when they were affectionately known as ..Pan D
HELP ...ANYONE ???
I have to second this comment. His music is beautiful.
I want to add that people are ready for own compositions but some composers are their own worst enemy. They don't want to release until the last moments, some have no lyrics(Birdsong (Narrell)/Hummingbird (Cupidore) and there is not enough marketing. This year Shock Attack and all previous Edwin Pouchet's compositions are always well known to the public after a launch at the panyard and they are accepted as they are known to the public.
Congrats Ray Holman. He is ranked high among our pan fraternity. I just live the vintage Ray and what he did with Starlift back in those days.
I would like to thank Ray for teaching me how to appreciate beautiful music, having spent five years with him from 1966 I am now able to tell what is a good panorama song, that is what Phase II has.
Thank you Ray.
MARVELLOUS RAY! WE HONOUR THE BRILLIANCE YOU HAVE SUSTAINED. LOVE YOU!
Ray has always been a leader...the tunes that I remember most was "Plenty Lovin" and "Pan" because it brings back memories of Washington DC. Keep up the great work Ray, we all love your music and may you be here for another 50 !
Another gem by Ray written and performed by the 'Soul of Pan' a tribute to his late mother...http://youtu.be/h0V_-p-HGh0
