During the campaign for Pan Trinbago’s 2018 election, a member band’s representative started informing the bands that the candidate running for Vice President on Beverly Ramsey Moore’s team was untrustworthy. This information was publicly aired on social media throughout the election. It ended on election day when the member who made the accusation was served a legal letter by Mr. Harewood for defamation of character.
Despite these warnings before the election, Beverly Ramsey-Moore lead team ‘Rebuild’ into office with Carlon Harewood as Vice President.
According to this executive, (through our president’s reports in various meeting with the membership), her executive would not be exorbitantly paying themselves, like the last executive, and would only take a stipend. Despite that being said, the fact is that the executive paid to the office of the VP about $19,000.00 per month on the high season and $15,000.00 per month on the low, which is an estimated value of one hundred and ninety-six thousand (196,000.00) per annum. Just remember, this is being justified by the executive on the backdrop of our non-profit organization which has a sixty million financial debt over its head. (stipend for the VP under Diaz’s administration was paid an average of eight thousand dollars before tax).
