From day one, over the last 18 months -- THE CIP has managed to convince itself that it is on the cusp of victory in its efforts to REPLACE Keith Diaz and his BAND OF GANGSTAS!!! Always like ONE WEEK AWAY.
And then there is a new PLOT TWIST and we start all over again -- as time goes by. I don't know how much time they think these OLD EXPATS on THIS FORUM have waiting for a true WORLD GOVERNING BODY OF STEELBAND to emerge.
I know that THE PAN is an inanimate object. But like THE PAN ITSELF has more brains than THE CIP and THE GANGSTA ADMINISTRATION. Because THE PAN keeps expanding its audience further and further across THE GLOBE with ZERO ASSISTANCE from THE CIP or THE GANGSTAS or DOCTOR DOLLY -- that is indeed a small miracle.
And more and more people with VAST MUSICAL SKILLS are gravitating to THE INSTRUMENT. So as BLACK STALIN say I might wake up one day and hear a masterful PAN COMPOSITION from the UNITED KINGDOM. Well, that is not exactly what he said ... but allyuh understand!!!
So, I am giving THE CIP two more weeks TO DELIVER and then I am starting a petition on WHEN STEEL TALKS to get 12,000 signatures from members to declare THE CIP Persona Non Grata on THIS FORUM.
Although I should be wary about this PETITION THING, because the last time THE CIP tried that -- talk about BACKFIRING!!!
