I only saw the start of the interview and then I lost the feed. So this report is based on very little input from the entire interview which I plan to see one way or another because these are crucial times as we approach the election of a NEW EXECUTIVE and each candidate has to be carefully evaluated.
So maybe WACK RADIO could post the ENTIRE INTERVIEW for further analysis.
Now I disagree with Mr. Keith Byer for GRINDING OLD AXES at a time when he could have just spelled out HIS AGENDA for taking PAN FORWARD. (And I am sure that he must have later in the interview -- I did hear some of it.)
Of course he had to at least go back in time and clear the air on the CARI PAN issue because everybody wants to hang him with that. But a lot of the other recriminations were unnecessary.
In this regard, I have the HIGHEST RESPECT for KEITH DIAZ, because upon his rise to power, in his first interview he made it crystal clear that he was NOT going to wash Pan Trinbago's dirty linens in public (read: Patrick Arnold's dirty linens). And to this point I cannot say that I ever saw him do a Byron Serrette or Michael Joseph.
On the other hand we got to hear first-hand information about the CORRUPTION that has taken place over the last 21 years in Pan Trinbago. This is important to me because so many posters on the forum, for political reasons, refuse to admit to the CORRUPTION in Pan Trinbago and choose to hide under the "alleged" label rather than FACE THE FACTS.
Under Patrick Arnold, 4 million dollars disappeared. Under Keith Diaz, 41 million dollars disappeared. And just this last PANORAMA, under this current executive, another 8 million dollars disappeared. That is 53 million dollars that nobody could account for. Like the rat eat the cocaine!!!
I have to see the whole interview again to be fair to MR. BYER. But at this point in the movement's history, I would like to see a PAN TRINBAGO PRESIDENT with some GRAVITAS and DIPLOMATIC DEBONAIRE. Mr. Byer did rightly point to the GRAND GLOBAL VALLEY OF OPPORTUNITY FOR PAN around the WORLD. And that market has certain expectations -- that is just the way the world spins.
But as someone else hinted in his own context: Which of the candidates could fill the bill -- in MY CONTEXT. I have to wait on the ENTIRE PARADE of CANDIDATES to make my judgement.
So I greatly appreciate WACK RADIO bringing that BROADCAST and I hope that ALL THE CANDIDATES will get their fair chance to PRESENT THEIR AGENDA on a GLOBAL FORUM like WACK RADIO!!!
