I may be late with this news, but I was just informed on the passing of Sheldon....this means we have lost another great one...so many from the homeland are leaving. Sheldon was a very young man in his 30's. Many would know of him winning the Ex Tempo crown on several ocassions...but I also know him as a Good Panman  when we both used to play with  Exodus a few years ago.I remember the first time my cousin Mervyn introduced  me to him in Exodus, during a Panorama season and  finding out that my family and I just came in from Montreal to play with the band ...so in real Ex-Tempo style he ran some on the spot ex tempo on me and my family  ...that really cracked  me up I was amazed at his talent. I also re connected with him another time he came through Ottawa, Canada with All Stars. on a small tour..Rest In Peace my brother Sheldon you have certainly made your contribution to the homeland and the world. Sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of Sheldon

RIP

  • Sheldon had Vincentian roots and Emceed at several Calypso shows here in St Vincent including at a major show at Victoria  Park. Last year he had a clash at our Dimanche Gras show with our Extempo champ and really displayed his skills condolences to his family and the cultural artistes who knew the brother.

  • I did not know the Brother but anybody who made a contribution to our culture whether is pan, calypso, or in his case, extempo, tribute must be paid. Codolences to all his friends and family.

    Rest in peace my Brother
