Now it is TRUE that RAG STORM was NOT FIT FOR PAN. Weeks ago, when the first snippet from a phone was posted with EXODUS trying to play that tune I was horrified at their TUNE OF CHOICE.
But the truth is -- if you understand the INSIDE POLITICS -- EXODUS never had a chance regardless of what SONG they played.
Let me explain the POLITICAL SIDE OF THIS STORY!!!
During the last PAN TRINBAGO elections, the Manager of Exodus campaigned for ANOTHER CANDIDATE against BEVERLEY RAMSEY-MOORE. And BEVERLEY was fully aware of the political machinations. Now, like Hillary Clinton, Beverley does not take kindly to OPPOSITION or SLIGHTS.
So Beverley make up she mind that if she win the PRESIDENCY -- EXODUS will NEVER see higher than 7TH place in NO COMPETITION that SHE RUNNING.
That is THE REAL CLEAR PAN POLITICS my friends.
So PELHAM and EXODUS could CHANGE TUNE all they want -- dem judges eh listening to them or giving them any kind ah decent placing as long as BEVERLEY IS PRESIDENT of PAN TRINBAGO.
Now, personally, this year I think that they deserve to be DOWN IN THE BOTTOM with that RAG STORM tune of choice -- as I said before.
But don't expect to see them improve too much with SAVANNAH GRASS because BEVERLEY done COOK DEY COO-COO!!!
(That is why I studying all dem 20 Democratic Presidential CANDIDATES real hard!!! Because ah do want to pick the wrong ONE and when the RIGHT ONE WIN just like how BEVERLEY PUNISHING EXODUS -- I end up getting PUNISHED and DEPORTED back to TRINIDAD by the new PRESIDENT OF THE USA. POLITICS eh EASY NAH!!! So maybe is time for PELHAM to STEP ASIDE because EXODUS doh have NO CHANCE in 2019 or 2020 or 2021 ... and who knows how much longer.)

Cecil: I hear that in a lot of the bands that the influx of YOUNGER PLAYERS are calling for YOUNGER ARRANGERS. So even ICONS like SMOOTH and PELHAM under pressure to RELINQUISH.
I hear that SAVANNAH GRASS real popular ... but that song did not appeal to me.
And with DUVONE doing what he is doing -- it look like ONLY THE YOUNG will SURVIVE AND WIN!!!
