This is one of the most intrguing PANORAMA ARRANGEMENTS I have heard in a very long time ... especially in terms of how the BASS SECTION was utiilized

Now, as the eternal PAN CRITIC, I have a couple disclaimers. First of all the timbre of the arrangement had a bit of an OLD TIME LAVWAY feel and the TEMPO of the song was really too slow and clean for a PANORAMA SONG. Beyond that, I have heard THE CALYPSO a few times but I cannot say that I am that familiar with it and I don't really see it as a vehicle for a PANORAMA ARRANGEMENT

However, the musical arrangement was better than anything I have heard in years -- including all the TRINIDAD PANORAMAS.

The day that ANDRE WHITE picks the right calypso to play in a PANORAMA -- he will bring the stars down to earth.
