Great show, but I hope that NLCB demand proper accounting for their sponsorship (how many comp tickets were given out, etc.) We replaced the Diaz executive with the Ramsey- Moore executive. Nothing has changed. Giving audited financial reports are not a priority - giving the executive salaries/perks/ allowances/ stipends is. And the same hangers-on are still there. Where is the CIP? Sorry, I forgot - they are all now on the executive!
"Prosperity in Pan" for who? Hundreds of single pan pannists played for free And there is still no plan as to how to reduce the millions in debt!
I understand THE POLITICS and her hanging on to all THE POSITIVES. But VERY EARLY in the TTT BROADCAST the PRIMARY ANNOUNCER said that the STANDS WERE EMPTY and she urged listeners in TRINIDAD to come down and see the LIVE SHOW. Then you had the newspaper reports talking about the POOR SHOWING. And bugs was one of the first people to come on THIS FORUM and validate the NO SHOW AUDIENCE.
So all of that FIRST IMPRESSION is nailed into people's heads alongside THE POSITIVES. Shouldn't BEVERLEY balance all those pieces when she comes out and gives her little PROPAGANDA SPIN?
And even her FOLLOWERS -- the first comments they started making was how to TURN THE PANORAMA (single, small, medium or large) into MONEY. Because the LOSS OF MONEY was on everybody's mind.
Anyway, I have to get back to my CABINET RESHUFFLE CAMPAIGN. Because THE GENERAL SECRETARY and THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY and THE ERO and THE TREASURER and THE LIAISON OFFICER to STEELBANDS and THE PANORAMA COMMITTEE and BERTEL GITTENS and THE VEE PEE -- all gave THE PRESIDENT some real bad money-losing advice.
And it is time for her to do a RESHUFFLE OF THAT CABINET. And when she does decide to APPOINT A PRO -- she better check with me to make sure that I approve. Because we need a PRO who could KNOCK ON RICH DOORS and bring MONEY and SPONSORS into the STEELBAND MOVEMENT.
