EXXON is hot to trot pushing the new GUYANESE GOVERNMENT to approve the Payara Field Development Plan. With all the BILLIONS that EXXON is going to make from this deal, it is nothing for them to throw in a little deal sweetener in the form a GLOBAL CENTER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF STEELDRUM MUSIC.

They could bring down a CONSTRUCTION CREW from the USA and construct a FABULOUS STEELDRUM MUSIC COMPLEX.

Then the GUYANESE GOVERNMENT could invite PAN DEVELOPERS like Ansel Joseph from Arizona and PAN YARD from OHIO and THE MANNETTE CREW from WEST VIRGINIA and GERARD CLARKE from TRINIDAD and the PAN TRINBAGO PAN FACTORY CREW -- all as CONSULTANTS working together to develop a unified approach to GLOBAL PAN PRODUCTION.

Ansel Joseph already laid out the foundation for this project in a recent posting.

With all the billions that EXXON is going to be making from the PAYARA FIELD -- this is like a DIME EXPENSE in their FAT POCKET. And think about the benefit to their GLOBAL CORPORATE IMAGE with a project like this which could to duplicated in other countries if it is managed properly,

Now beyond all the TECHNICAL EXPERTISE required for a project of this magnitude, I have my own SOCIAL AGENDA for this project. Because I would like to see the GUYANESE GOVERNMENT take some of the delinquent youths off the streets away from the "choke and rob" and the burglary and the dope dealing and the prisons -- and put some of these youths into this PAN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. Think about what this could mean for the lives of some of these young men who become successful as a result of this project. I don't have to read and spell the details. But the reverence and respect with which I have seen PAN TUNERS get when they come to far out regions to blend pans for steelbands or PAN PLAYERS who make a living playing pan -- is a bit of a small miracle for me.

Just think that a GUYANESE YOUTH who might be heading to 20 years in prison (on his current path) if redirected to a program like this could end up being a PAN TUNER 10 years down the road finding himself in a classroom in LOS ANGELES blending PANS for the school and lecturing to the schoolchildren on the SCIENCE OF MAKING A STEELDRUM. What a SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION.

Well there is one thing I left out from THIS PROJECT. I want a special room dedicated to the development of the PAN SYNTHESIZER. We have to bring down some EXPERTS FROM ENGLAND to educate a group of youths in this aspect of PAN MUSIC.

ESSO (EXXON) attached their name to TRIPOLI STEELBAND in TRINIDAD in the SIXTIES and look how far ESSO TRIPOLI reached. I think that EXXON can make PAN LIGHTNING strike again in GUYANA; only this time on a more MASSIVE and INDUSTRIAL SCALE with a GRAND CENTER FOR THE GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT OF STEELDRUM MUSIC!!!

  • Claude, well outlined, those are essential points to consider. CHANGE is already happening, the foundation laid by a LOCAL visionary.

    Caribbean Rhythmic Vibrations

    Sanch Electronix Limited
Thriving on indigenous rhythms such as calypso, merengue, samba, son and zouk, Latin America, the Caribbean, and their Diasporas represent approximately 735 million persons, 9 percent of the world’s population. In the aftermath of Covid-19, it may now be opportune for CAZIQ and SANCH to collaborate for promulgation and proliferation of popular brands from these countries by streaming pan music to smartphones and other mobile devices.
