In TRINIDAD LINGO when you STORM an event it means that you get in WITHOUT PAYING. In this case the SUPPOSED WINNER of the PANOGRAMA STORM the PANOGRAMA (WITH THE HELP OF SOME JUDGES) WITHOUT PAYING MUSICAL DUES or having the MUSICAL SKILLS to win at THAT LEVEL.

The WHOLE PAN WORLD in an UPROAR. A very INFORMED PAN MAN in TRINIDAD sent me an email telling me that if you picked the 20 best YOUNG PAN PLAYERS IN TRINIDAD -- KEISHAUN JULIEN would not be on that list. YET HE WIN THE PANOGRAMA.

To think that KEISHAUN JULIEN is a better MUSICIAN and PAN PLAYER than THE FRENCH MAN is to INSULT GLOBAL STEELBAND MUSIC. BEVERLEY made a COLOSSAL ERROR stacking the deck of JUDGES for that PANOGRAMA and ended up putting an ETERNAL STAIN on what was supposed to be an INTERNATIONALLY RESPECTED and FORWARD THINKING PAN SHOWCASE.

PEOPLE SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER ALL OVER THE PAN WORLD. THREE TOBAGO JUDGES end up making GREAT MUSICIANS like LIAM TEAGUE and VICTOR PROVOST look like jingoistic, coward AMATEUR JUDGES.

I am glad to see SOBER VOICES up in arms over this POLITICAL PLOY by PAN TRINBAGO to win votes in the UPCOMING ELECTIONS.

I love THE PAN LOVER CALLED PAN CRITIC:

Pan Critic
What is marvelously revealing is the unanimous response of rebuke, disenchantment, disappointments and some disgust and even a dash of anger towards this kind of jingoistic nationalism by a Foreign Trini, like so many others, living comfortably in the US!
The many comments here demonstrate the exceptional value placed on diversity in Pan with a universal appeal! Pan democracy is the name of the game! The local and expatriate Pan community rightly didn’t hold back and righteously condemn and dismiss any attempts to portray who play or love Pan worldwide in such a narrow and restricted way, which is a travesty, but not one that will deny Pan the love of its followers and players the world over!!!!

You need to do a full review of the show on your show.

      • All that hard work you want to give me Mr. Bugs.

The way I see it, nobody want's to hear anybody's honest opinion.

People in T & T are on egg shells right now and comments from a humble but influential pan personality like me would just fan the flames of hate that is brewing among our very fragile pan community due to the lack of positive leadership.

The pan community may be indeed fragile at the moment, but all I'm hearing is people blowing their noses into the mic just because they have one.

I have NOT seen or heard one single person explain musically why the person who won should not have from a musical perspective?

I have NOT seen one person explain why the person they like should have won from a musical perspective.

I believe that had the French guy delivered Keishaun Julien's performance we would be talking about another Pan by Storm controversy even greater than the Fonclaire panorama performance. And had Julien delivered the French guy's performance and won, we might be watching a violent insurrection into Tobago by Trinidadians.

  • Claude you spreading false information again. Nobody is upset with results except you. You're just a sore loser.

Sabga-Aboud came on CNN and said he controls everything in Trinidad and Tobago. That is a fact. So if you don't like the results go speak to him.

KEISHAUN JULIEN is a boss player.
