Trafalgar Square Pan Jamboree 2010

CSI at the Trafalgar Square Pan Jamboree 2010England - BAS celebrated its tenth anniversary of hosting their BAS/GLA Steelband Jamboree in Trafalgar Square this year. Over the past ten years BAS has fully supported the Mayors of London in taking this iconic location (Trafalgar Square) to another level to be fully appreciated and enjoyed by local and national communities as well as global tourists.

  • Liz is just about one of the Oldest Flag Women about she can be seen anywhere from Trinbago to any remote corner in this world with a flag of Trinibago as long as there is a Pan playing. There were quite a few bands missing. Mangrove, Pantonic, and a few others but it was a good afternoon by all accountds
  • Congratulations to the Organizers of this annual Event at Trafalgar Square. I am a Trini, Patrick Joseph, Manager of Rhapsody Rebirth Steel Orchestra of ARIMA, Trinidad..I wish one day I can visit with you on that special day. I like Liz the Flag Woman. I am sure you all would remember our Grand Master, The Lord Kitchener, he sang '..you have no Band without a Flag Woman.' There was a band I realized was absent. The Melodians led by Terry Noel. Maybe they were on Tour.

Congrats again for lifting the National Instrument of Trinidad and Tobago at such a high level.
